Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Gina Hansut, and Deputy Chair Chris Hewitt offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County District Attorney; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Family Child Advocacy Center (FCAC) investigates all reports of allegations of child sexual abuse, serious physical abuse including any child fatalities, domestic violence cases involving children, as well as child trafficking and exploitation cases; and

WHEREAS, position # 1165-1475 was created in the Adopted 2025 Ulster County Budget as a part-time benefited position (42 hours per pay period), and the District Attorney is requesting reclassification of this position to a full-time FCAC Investigator; and

 WHEREAS, the anticipated start date for the full-time position will be September 22, 2025; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2025 Ulster County Personnel Listing is hereby amended as follows:

and, be it further

RESOLVED, that the 2025 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:                                   

and moves its adoption.
